At KIMS courses of O and A Levels are each completed in two years. In A- Level, AS Level is also offered in which first year is called AS Level and the second year is called A-2 Level. In both cases the final Examination is given by Cambridge Board in May/June each year whereas students opting for A-Level will be taking their final examination all put together after two years in May/June.

Other than these major examinations, students will be assessed on monthly basis in the following manner:-
- Quizzes at the end of lectures.
- Topic revision assignment at the conclusion of the topic (to be attempted at home).
- Class assignments to help cultivate time management.
- Home assignments to develop in students the practice of extensive reading.
- Monthly Tests (O Levels) Topic Tests (Gr. I – VIII) in each month (The schedule for Monthly Tests will be provided to parents on the first Parent Teacher Meeting).
