TIME TABLE FOR THE PAYMENT OF FEES

In order to run the school respectably and efficiently, it is essential that the collection of fee is well organized and a comprehensive timetable is prepared well in advance, looked into very carefully for the mutual convenience of the school and the parents: parents being the sole providers of the revenue to the school. A careful look and total agreement with the following timetable is important as dues shall have to be cleared by the dates as given below. The parents otherwise shall have to bear a fine of  Rs.100/- per day. This fine is heavy only to put emphasis on the payment of fee within the due dates.

The Timetable:

    At the time of admission
Admission fee
+ Security Deposit,
+ Tuition fees and
All other applicable monthly/quarterly charges for September, October and ovember;
+ Annual contribution towards students’ functions etcetera
+ Annual pool fee.
    5th of December
Tuition fees
+ All other applicable monthly and quarterly charges for December, January and February.
    5th of March
Tuition fees
+ All other applicable monthly and quarterly charges for March, April and May. Students of OII and AII will pay the monthly charges for June as well.
    5th of May
Tuition fees
+ All other applicable monthly and quarterly charges for June, July and August.  Not applicable to OII and AII

For July and August students shall have to pay 50% of the Transport fee.
In order to calculate exact figure of fee payable each time, please read this schedule in the light of the
“Fee Structure” on page 8 and/or speak to our Accounts.

NB:    1. Fees will only be paid at the Gulberg and D.H.A., branches of Faysal Bank.

 2. An additional amount of Rs.500/- can be levied for cash handling in case the fee is to be paid at our Accounts.

Notes:

  1. All fee dues are to be paid in advance, quarterly, according to the ‘timetable for payment of fees’ given on page 10 of this book.
  2. Fee for the full term (3 months) is charged at the time of admission, irrespective of the month of admission.
  3. As a matter of policy, no exemptions and/or exceptions are normally allowed on a fine put on late payment of fee. The late fine has been fixed at Rs.100/- per day.
  4. Academic scholarships (upto 100% of the tuition fee) are awarded to students studying in                   A Level. Information on the criteria for scholarships is given in this book. However, a minimum of Rs.500/- per month has to be paid regularly by each student. On late payment fine would apply as in 3 above.
  5. Fee challans are usually sent to parents through their children before the due date. However depositing fee on time is the sole responsibility of parents. Information to this effect is also sent to parents by our SMS Alert System (SAS).
  6. A concession of 10% of the tuition fee will be given to each sibling concurrently studying at KIMS. However, if a sibling is also entitled to an academic scholarship, only one of the two benefits will be allowed at a time. Thus, no student would be entitled to more than one concessions at a time. Please provide necessary details in this behalf in the space provided in the Admission Application Form.
  7. Fees are subject to increase around 15% every year.
  8. If a child is absent without a formal sanction of leave for more than 21 days, he/she  will be deemed to have left school and will have to repeat the whole admission procedure in order to regain entry.
  9. It may be noted that students of O-II and A-II pay the above charges for all months up to and including June. Thus the fee is paid for a total number of 10 months instead of 12 months by all the students.
  10. In case of withdrawal of a student from the school, one month’s written notice personally delivered to the Principal or one month’s fee in lieu thereof (including other charges) shall have to be paid. However, students deciding to leave in the last two terms shall have to clear the dues up to June (in case of O-II & A-II) and up to August (in case of all other classes).
  11. Admissions for Cambridge and London universities’ examination (for O and A Levels) are sent in December. However, O Level students appear in Urdu in November so their fees to Cambridge are sent in August. Students whose admissions are routed through KIMS have to clear dues upto June (2nd year) or up to August in case of AS students.
  12. The above fee structure applies to the new admissions at O-I and A-I Levels. For admissions in 2nd year classes, fee structure is different and information to this effect can be obtained from the GUIDEBOOK of the previous year.
  13. Government Tax will be charged on the full fee, regardless of any special concession in the fee, if such a tax is levied.
  14. Students promoted from class VIII to O Level will pay the summer vacation fees but will not pay the admission fees for O Level. However, students promoted to A Level will have to pay the admission fees as they don’t pay the fees for summer vacations.
  15. The ‘Security Deposit’ will be refunded and/or school leaving certificate will be issued only if:
    1. The parents have produced the original receipt of the security deposit.
    2. All school dues have been cleared.
    3. The school has received the withdrawal notice as mentioned in clause ‘10’ above.
    4. The refund is claimed within one year from the date of withdrawal/leaving the school.

Any fees already paid would not be refunded.
